I'm a Web Systems Developer, Networking and Web Business Writing. (Certified) with the International Webmasters Association-USA. I began Web developments and business writing in 1997. Since that time I have helped many companies, Organisations with Web Design, Development, Software and Hardware development needs. My journey started with The Open University Milton Kynes where I studied Social Science and Information Technology. Since then I've been involved in professional developments as back in the late 1990's. I have worked with many programming languages and on several computer platforms since 1993. I'm a Full Member of the HTML Writer's Guilde and the International Webmasters Association

A personal web page may have several purposes, from displaying your hobbies, and interests to self- marketing. At its basic level, a personal web page is a lot like an introductory conversation in which you 're telling your new acquaintances what you want them to know about you. But what you mostly want to tell them is how you can be helpful to them in some area of shared interest.

Make a good first impression

When we write web documents, we bring some habits from print. They don't always apply in hypertext, however, and this is especially true of the resume. The print-on-paper resume works on the principle of the good first impression. First we like (or dislike) the general look of the resume. Then we gain our impression of the person from the first things we learn about him or her - from what's at the top of the resume. We carry on through the resume paying most attention to whatever section comes first, and to whatever is at the top of a given section.

Computer -Screen Text Is Hard to Read!

You may not realize it but your monitor has awful resolution. Maybe the text looks crisp and sharp compared to that on those old gree-on-black monitors of the mid-1980s . But take a look at your text on -screen and then at a laser printout. Once you look back at your screen, the text will be a sight for sore eyes, and you'll realize how difficult it is to read lots of text on-screen!
